Type Species: Etheria stefanensis Moricand, 1856 [=Bartlettia stefanensis (Moricand, 1856)] (by monotypy).

Generic Synonyms: Rochanaia Morretes, 1941.

Remarks: Generic author listed as A. Adams by Haas (1969:603). Date for the genus Bartlettia incorrectly given as 1870 by Kabat (1997:386).

Distribution: Rio Huallaga, Ecuador; Arroyo Guazu, Paraguay; Rio Nioaque, Mato Grosso, Brazil; Rio San Alejandro, Huanuco, Peru (Haas 1969:604).
