Occupation: Farmer; Sheriff, Grundy County, Illinois; Assistant State Geologist, Indiana; Amateur Conchologist. Lived in Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Traveled to N.C. Tennssee, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, and Utah with H.A. Pilsbry, J.H. Ferriss, and Junius Henderson, 1910-1916. 33rd degree Mason.

Research Interests: Freshwater and land Mollusca.
